paint, buckets, and falling down on stage...

it was our school's first talent show, and jake decided it would be great to do a live painting with one of our students and me. we got 2 6-foot masonite boards, tons of paint, and spent the next week creating what you see above. we covered it in watercolor so that it looked white. for the show, we played sigur ros, and "choreographed" a way to uncover the painting in a way that made it look like we painted this in the time it took for the 6 mintue song to play. paint and water were flying everwhere while lights flickered and the music played. i slipped and fell in the paint, and the audience loved every minute of it. some people were convinced that we had actually painted this on stage.
